The Resort Village of Etters Beach and the Etters Beach Recreation Site are located in close proximity to some of the best bird-watching and nature watching habitat in Canada. Located only a short and scenic drive from the oldest bird sanctuary in Canada and the Last Mountain Lake National Wildlife Area, wildlife enthusiasts can view deer, rabbits, geese, ducks, crane and many other species of migratory waterfowl, including the occasional whooping crane.
